About Us

Business First is a premium magazine promoting the best of business. It is available through first class airline and Eurostar lounges, four and five star hotels, golf clubs and spas in southern England. Our aim is quite simple. To provide business readers with articles that entertain, provoke and inform. Some of the country's top specialists in law, finance, accountancy, business and management contribute articles to our magazine. Over time, a panel of regular contributors has become established.

Here they are:

Nick PetersNick Peters is publisher and editor-in-chief of Business First. His career has taken him across the world, covering news stories on behalf of national news organisations. He was a foreign correspondent in Brussels and Washington DC and in his time has worked for BBC TV, ITN, APTN, LBC/IRN, NBC (US), CBC (Canada), The Sunday Times and Scotland on Sunday. He is an experienced writer, journalist and broadcaster with a string of TV and radio credits to his name. Yet despite having reported news, politics and war from across the globe, business is one of the most satisfying and interesting subjects of all. Readers want to know about the passion, inspiration and drive that creates successful companies and finding the people and their stories is a source of real pleasure.(Email Nick)

Rhidian JonesRhidian Jones (Opinion) is founder and managing director of R2M, a specialist agency that provides high-end technology companies with routes to market. He started work in marketing at just 16, earning £3 an hour telephone canvassing. By age 17 he had 43 staff and was ranked in the Top 5 of over 50 marketing managers in the Bowater Group. After a further two years at Bowater, he joined the Sterling Media Group, publisher of over 100 magazines, where he was responsible for international advertising sales. During this time he founded several dotcom enterprises, eventually leaving SMG to pursue these interests with more vigor, whilst embarking upon a parallel career in broadcasting as a popular presenter on Ocean FM, Fresh FM, Heartbeat FM and Mercury 96.6. Having spent many years at the coalface of sales and marketing, Rhidian has an innate sense of what works in marketing, crafting successful pitches in seconds, immediately knowing what will work and what will not. Having already delivered projects for the likes of Ford Motor Company, and the Department of Health, he is now retained by some of the world`s biggest companies to produce great angles for their new products and services, and to revitalise the marketing of existing ones.
